We have been exploring different styles of typography. The children have enjoyed using nature to inspire their own fonts and designs and we have been looking at various artists who use different fonts and lettering styles within their pieces.

More recently we have been using maps - drawing over existing markings with our own interesting designs and we have used inspiration from Grayson Perry and Paula Scher to inspire our own maps which will be themed all about us! We are using fine line pens and intricate designs using images and typography to do this.
