Elm Class Handball Tournament

Today, Elm Class finished their unit on handball and spent the lesson in competitive spirits out on the field.

At the end of every games unit in PE, each class takes part in an end-of-unit tournament to put into practise the skills we have learnt and work on our competition skills. Today, Elm Class finished their unit on handball and spent the lesson in competitive spirits out on the field.

The children were split into 6 teams and each team played 5 competitive matches, helping them work on a number of important PE skills, including teamwork, support and cooperation. Children earned points for being good sportspeople, as well as for wins.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the tournament. Well done Elm class -  you should be proud of how well you did today - keep it up!
