Holly and Hazel looked at the parts of a fire engine before exploring how the wheels and axles worked. Then they designed, made and evaluated their work. Don't they look great? 

First we painted the boxes bright red.

Once we had assembled our wheels, we made hoses, ladders, doors and lights!
